Administrative and Financial Corruption
Under the patronage of the University President and the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. **Ahmed Suleiman Hamad**, the **College of Information Technology** organized a scientific seminar entitled
**“The Phenomenon of Administrative and Financial Corruption and Its Impact on Society”**, held at the college’s central hall.
The seminar featured presentations by **Asst. Prof. Dr. Waleed Hamdan Azzam**, **Lect. Ahmed Safaa Yahya**, and **Lect. Mohammed Qasim Mohammed**, who addressed the main causes of administrative and financial corruption and its negative effects on state institutions and society. The speakers also highlighted effective mechanisms for combating corruption and promoting the values of integrity and transparency.
The seminar was attended by the **Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Omar Salah Farhan**, in addition to a number of administrative staff members of the college, whose interventions and discussions enriched the seminar. They emphasized the importance of such academic activities in raising institutional awareness and strengthening social responsibility within the university environment.
