AScientific Workshop on lmportance of the Bologna System
Under the title **“The Journey of Iraqi Universities with the Bologna System”**, the College of Information Technology held a specialized scientific seminar in the central hall of the college, under the patronage of the President of the University and Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, and in the presence of the Scientific Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Salah Farhan, with the participation of a number of heads of scientific departments, as well as administrative and academic staff.
The seminar was delivered by Lecturer Dr. Yasser Hadi Farhan, who presented the main pillars on which the transition to the Bologna educational system in Iraqi universities is based. He highlighted the objectives of this system in enhancing the quality of educational outcomes and developing students’ skills and capabilities in line with international academic standards.
The seminar also witnessed in-depth discussions on the mechanisms of implementation and the challenges that have accompanied this academic journey, aiming to reach an integrated educational vision that supports the scientific progress of the College of Information Technology and the university as a whole.
