The College Council convened its third session for the academic year 2025-2026
The Council of the College of Information Technology held its third open session – Part Two – for the academic year 2025–2026, chaired by the President of the University and Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, and attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Salah Farhan, along with the heads of the scientific departments and members of the College Council.
The Dean opened the session by conveying the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in addition to his own instructions, which focused on enhancing the academic level and ensuring the precise implementation of ministerial regulations, particularly those related to the examination process and student assessment mechanisms. During the session, the results of the first-round examinations for the first semester were approved after being reviewed and verified to ensure the integrity of the procedures followed.
The session also witnessed the approval of the four official manuals of the College, as well as a discussion on the mechanism for operating the Student Information System (SIS) and the importance of adhering to it to ensure accuracy and transparency in documenting student data and results.
For his part, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, in cooperation with the heads of the Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence Departments, reviewed the key issues related to examinations and student grades, emphasizing the need to address observations that would enhance academic performance and provide a fair and motivating learning environment.
