The conference convened specialied scientific sessions
**The University of Fallujah** concluded, on **Thursday, December 18, 2025**, the activities of its **Fourth Periodic International Conference on Information and Sciences**, which was held under the gracious patronage of **His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research**, and under the direct supervision of **the President of the University and Dean of the College of Information Technology, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad**, with broad participation from a distinguished group of researchers, academics, and experts from inside and outside Iraq.
The final day of the conference witnessed the convening of a **series of specialized scientific sessions**, during which a selection of outstanding research papers and scientific projects were discussed across diverse themes, including **Biology and Biotechnology, Engineering and Mathematics, Medical Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, Physics, Chemistry, Informatics, Pathological Analysis, as well as Management and Economics**. These sessions were characterized by a high level of scientific discourse, in-depth discussions, the exchange of expertise and perspectives, and innovative research findings that contribute to advancing knowledge and strengthening applied scientific research.
The conference also received **remarkable academic engagement**, with keynote speakers and researchers participating from **eleven Arab and foreign countries**, which significantly enriched academic dialogue, expanded horizons for international research collaboration, and enhanced intellectual openness among participating scientific institutions.
The conference concluded with the issuance of a **final statement**, delivered by the President of the University and Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, which included a set of **strategic recommendations**, most notably:
* The necessity of keeping pace with rapid developments in **pure and applied sciences, data science, artificial intelligence, and information security**.
* Defining **national research priorities** aligned with development requirements.
* Establishing a **multidisciplinary research center** specializing in artificial intelligence and data science.
* Enhancing **applied scientific research** and closely linking it to the needs of society, government institutions, and productive sectors.
In his concluding remarks, the President of the University affirmed that **the University of Fallujah continues its forward momentum in building a renewed scientific community** capable of making a tangible impact on the path toward sustainable development. He called upon all academic and research partners to embrace a spirit of effective cooperation and partnership, and to translate the conference outcomes into **practical projects** that serve society and support the national economy.
