College of Information Technology Holds an Awareness Workshop Titled
“Raising Awareness of the Risks and Consequences of Illegal Immigration and Promoting the Spirit of National Belonging”
Under the patronage of the respected President of the University and Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, in cooperation with the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at the College of Information Technology, organized an awareness workshop titled:
“Raising Awareness of the Risks and Consequences of Illegal Immigration and Promoting the Spirit of National Belonging.”
This workshop was held as part of the college’s efforts to enhance students’ social awareness and reinforce national values and social responsibility.
Assistant Lecturer Maryam Hamid Abbas, Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, and Assistant Lecturer Alaa Idris Mahmoud, Head of the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit presented the workshop. The session addressed several important topics related to the dangers of illegal immigration and its humanitarian, social, security, and economic consequences. It also emphasized the importance of strengthening the spirit of national belonging and encouraging young people to actively contribute to serving society and building the nation.
The workshop saw positive interaction among participants through questions, discussions, and contributions that addressed the major challenges associated with migration.
