Program Overview
The Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Cybersecurity at the College of Information Technology, University of Fallujah, is a four-year undergraduate program designed according to the Bologna Process and international academic standards. The program provides students with strong foundations in computer science, information security, programming, computer networks, cryptography, operating systems, digital forensics, penetration testing, cloud security, artificial intelligence, and secure software development. Curriculum Structure
The curriculum is carefully designed to provide progressive learning experiences across eight semesters. During the first year, students develop fundamental knowledge in programming, mathematics, computer networks, and cybersecurity concepts. The second year focuses on core computer science disciplines, including data structures, algorithms, databases, cryptography, and web technologies. In the third year, students advance to specialized cybersecurity subjects such as network security, operating systems, cloud computing, secure communication protocols, and penetration testing. The final year emphasizes advanced cybersecurity topics including digital forensics, operating systems security, steganography and watermarking, deep learning for cybersecurity, IoT security, and graduation projects that allow students to apply their acquired knowledge to real-world problems.
