The College Council convened its second session

**The Council of the College of Information Technology Holds Its Second Session for the Academic Year 2025–2026**

The Council of the College of Information Technology held its second session for the academic year 2025–2026, chaired by the President of the University and Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, with the attendance of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Omar Salah Farhan, in addition to the heads of the academic departments and the council members.

The session began with the Dean conveying the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, emphasizing the importance of adhering to ministerial regulations and instructions, particularly those related to preparations for the final examinations and the organization of examination committees in a manner that ensures smooth workflow and accuracy of procedures.

The Council also discussed following up on the Student Information System (SIS) and addressing the observations related to it, as well as stressing the need to provide the requirements for the quality of scientific laboratories and to enhance their environment in a way that supports the educational process and achieves accreditation and quality standards.

In turn, the heads of the academic departments reviewed the minutes of their departmental meetings, which included the most important academic and administrative issues, along with the recommendations made to develop the educational process and address the obstacles facing the progress of work in the departments.

At the conclusion of the session, the President of the University and Dean of the College praised the great efforts exerted by the members of the College Council and their distinguished dedication in performing their academic and administrative duties, affirming that the spirit of cooperation and integration in work is the foundation for achieving the College’s aspirations for a successful academic year rich in scientific achievements, and for advancing the level of university performance in line with the directions and educational mission of the University of Fallujah.
